We, at Karanjawala Associates (Engineers) Pvt. Ltd., Mumbai, India operate as Chartered Engineers and Government Certified Energy Auditors, Government Approved Boiler Repairers, Mounting Manufacturers, and Power Plant Engineers.
We have been successfully working with the Pharmaceutical Industry, Chemical Industry, Hospitality Industry, Process Houses and others in Maharashtra.
Founded by Shree. Burjor N. Karanjawala in 1965, Karanjawala Associates, has pioneered Boiler Inspection Services and Certification for Pressure vessels & Lifting tackles.
In 1988, our Company obtained the IBR approval as Boiler Repairer & Pipe Fabricator from Director Steam Boilers, Maharashtra State.
In 2008, we were incorporated as a Private Limited Company in the name of Karanjawala Associates (Engineers) Pvt. Ltd. In the same year, we were also registered as a Boiler Mounting & Fittings Manufacturer under Indian Boiler Regulations, 1950.
Since our journey began, we have been providing strategic and leading solutions for industrial boilers. Over the last five decades, we have worked closely with boiler manufactures to offer boiler erection services as per their requirements and in accordance with industry standards. Safety and reliability have continued to be our main aim while offering services, related to both, boilers and boiler ancillaries.
Today, our Scope of Work includes:
– Manufacturing of Mobrey Water Level Controller, Pressure Reducing Station up to 40 kg/cm2
– Services for boiler annual inspection with chemical cleaning of boilers
– Boiler repair services including pipeline fabrication, furnace repair or replacement, tube replacement and other turnkey jobs as approved by the IBR
– New boiler erection at the site with tank fabrication, chimney, steam piping and ancillaries in line with client specifications and IBR regulations
– Inspection and Certification of equipment like pressure vessels (unfired type) as an authorized Competent Person by Director Industrial Safety & Health, Maharashtra state
– Load testing/certification of lifting tools and tackles viz. chain pulley block, hoist, EOT cranes and other lifting equipment as an approved and authorized Competent Person by Director, Industrial Safety & Health, Maharashtra
– Valuation of plant and machinery
– Storage tanks calibration with approval from Competent Authority
– Liaising with Government Offices like Steam Boiler Office, Directorate of Industrial Safety & Health, Legal Metrology Department, etc.
We are registered and are on the approved list of following authorities:
- Director, Steam Boilers, Maharashtra State: As Major Boiler Repairers, Pipe Fabricators and Mountings Manufacturers.
- Director, Industrial Safety and Health, Maharashtra State: As Competent Persons for testing of pressure vessels, lifting tackles, etc.
- Legal Metrology Department, Maharashtra State: As Competent Persons for calibration of petroleum products storage tanks, vats, etc.
- Loss Assessors/Surveyors under Insurance Act, 1937: As Authorized Assessor and Surveyor
- Energy Conservation Act, 2001 certified by the Bureau of Energy Efficiency under Ministry of Power, Govt. of India: As Certified Energy Auditor
